Our standard minimum hire period is one calendar month (30 days). Billing is handled on a month-to-month basis with invoice cycles issued 14 days prior to monthly renewal. For long-term mining contracts exceeding 6 months, customized volume rate structures are available.
Our all-inclusive monthly wet hire rate covers: a vetted, mine-inducted driver holding a valid PrDP; comprehensive Goods In Transit (GIT) and Public Liability insurance; scheduled preventative servicing and replacement wear parts; tyre maintenance; and 24/7 satellite telematics tracking with automated daily kilometer and load logs.
Under wet hire agreements, diesel can either be supplied by the client on site (via calibrated on-site fuel bowser) or refueled on our commercial fleet card accounts and billed back at actual pump cost without surcharge.
We maintain dedicated 24/7 mobile field service mechanics stationed near key corridors (N4 Witbank/Middelburg, N12, N1, and N3). In the event of a mechanical fault, our service van is dispatched immediately. If a breakdown cannot be resolved within 24 hours, a replacement unit is mobilized to maintain your contractual cycle times.
Yes. Our heavy-haulage drivers possess valid South African Code 14 (EC) driver's licenses with active PrDPs, clean criminal records, and up-to-date Occupational Health (Red Ticket) medicals. They are fully prepared for mine safety inductions across major mining houses (including Anglo American, Glencore, Exxaro, Seriti, and South32).
Yes. Our monthly rental rate includes comprehensive Goods In Transit (GIT) insurance and Public Liability cover to protect your load. We also cover the truck's hull insurance. The client is only liable for the excess in the event of a claim due to negligence.
The client is responsible for providing safe and secure accommodation for the driver near the site. This ensures the driver is rested and ready for shifts. Meals and daily transport for the driver are also for the client's account unless otherwise agreed.
Diesel and toll fees are not included in the rental rate. These are for the client's account. We deliver the truck with a full tank. We can provide fuel management logs if required.
