We run fully-compliant cross-border side tipper haulage from South Africa into Namibia — feeding the uranium and base-metal mines, supplying Windhoek and running the long desert haul to the Port of Walvis Bay.
Namibia is a country of long distances and serious mining. The uranium operations of the Erongo region, the base-metal and salt mines, and the deep-water Port of Walvis Bay all rely on dependable road haulage. Our 34 ton side tippers run the corridor from South Africa through Ariamsvlei or Vioolsdrif, up to Windhoek and onward to the coast at Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
From uranium ore and base metals to salt, gypsum, aggregates and port-bound minerals, we put a reliable, fully-supported combination on the route — built for the heat, distance and remoteness of Namibian desert haulage.

Third-party transit insurance and SADC-compliant documents kept current for regional cross-border haulage.
Loads kept within Namibian axle-mass limits to avoid penalties at the weighbridges along the desert routes.
Desert long-haul demands discipline. We pair distance-hardened drivers with fully-documented combinations so your uranium, base-metal and port-bound loads reach Windhoek and Walvis Bay on schedule.

Yes. Tipper Truck Hire SA runs cross-border 34 ton side tipper haulage into Namibia, serving mines and the port at Walvis Bay. Every hire is all-inclusive — truck, trailer, an experienced cross-border driver, full maintenance and comprehensive insurance.
Around Namibia our side tippers move copper, manganese, salt and mining bulk. The side-discharge design keeps the centre of gravity low and offloads safely and quickly on uneven mine and site ground.
Hire is billed monthly: a full horse-and-trailer combination is R70,000, a horse on its own is R40,000 and a side tipper trailer on its own is R30,000. A refundable deposit of R30,000 applies and VAT at 15% is added to all hire.
